Two months before the TED x Indiana University conference, the original stage designer got a job offer and left town without much of a warning leaving the organization scrambling for a new designer. They reached out to the Eskenazi School who in turn reached out to me asking if I could manage the job. Over the course of the next few weeks, a classmate and I sprinted through the design process holding interviews and doing research to make sure those who hired us were happy with what we had come up with for the design. It needed to be subtle but present on the stage and the end result did just that. We managed to design and fabricate it all in the few short weeks we were given to work on it, all while juggling a  capstone project and a full load of classes.
