As a beekeeper, I immediately knew that I wanted to focus on apiary tools.  While doing research on the current state of beekeeping in Rwanda I found that the common method of harvesting the honey is inefficient and generally unsanitary. This became my obsession for much of my 2019 spring semester. Part of the assignment was to create instruction booklets that could be followed by anyone regardless of language.
