I found this project to be particularly fun and rewarding. Whirlpool asked the class to look at all of the products they offered and redesign one to better integrate itself into the Internet of Things. My group and I set out to design a smart slow cooker that would take a lot of the stress out of cooking while communicating with devices around it to make the entire process go smoothly as possible. Not only did the group feel like we delivered a very fun and interesting product but Whirlpool agreed, awarding us best in class.
