ABOUT ME
USER EXPERIENCE AND MULTIDISCIPLINARY DESIGNER BASED IN NEW YORK CITY

I hail from Atlanta(1). I've hung my hat in Bloomington, IN, Chicago, IL(2), San Francisco, CA, and most recently hustling and bustling New York, NY. Professionally, I am a design thinker who can apply his talents to projects across the board. I interned as a furniture designer and have worked as a service designer, business designer, design researcher, and helped craft two design systems. Personally, I am a serial tinkerer with a driving desire to understand “what makes something do something”(3). This manifests itself in photography, baking, furniture making and restoration, once upon a time beekeeping(4), and many other avenues.

Of all things, I miss the bitter cold the most. Did you know that at -40° Celsius and Fahrenheit converge?

Feynman, Richard. 1973. Review of The World from Another Point of View Interview by Yorkshire Television interview. https://calteches.library.caltech.edu/35/2/PointofView.htm. As a middle schooler, this interview was deeply influential to the way I would grow to view the world. It was here I adopted a sort of “curiosity über alles” point of view.

You can (and I promise this is true) pet a bee. I am not only willing but able to do an interview where I only answer questions about bees.
